In this tutorial i’ll tell u people about commenting on blogs for the purpose of link building.

An important aspect of link building is commenting on blogs, and doing the same in dofollow blogs also helps you in increasing the Page rank of your site.

Such links help you in high placement in the SERPs as most of the modern search engines give a lot of value to inbound links with proper anchor texts!

Certain things have to be taken care of while commenting, as not all comments carry a value with them.

Generally speaking, a blog comment form has 4 fields:

  • Name
  • Email id
  • Website URL
  • Comment text

Here, the name and website url are related when we consider link building. These are the only 2 fields we’re bothered about.

> The name in this context doesn’t mean “ur name” or the comment author’s name like “Richie”, “Flora”, etc. but it stands for your ANCHOR TEXT.

“The anchor text is a keyword or a keyword rich phrase that is directly related to your website’s niche.

So when commenting the name field will contain ur ANCHOR TEXT!!!

E.g. If i’m commenting on a blog for building links to Digital Web Talk.. my name field will be:

“Digital Web Talk” or “Webmaster Blog” or “Web development tutorials” etc.

> U can fill ur email id in the 2nd field and this field make NO SENSE to us.

> The third field will contain ur exact website url. Most often with the “http://”.

> U can type in the desired comment into the comment field. Please do not type in comments like “Thank You”, “Nice share”, or any other short and random text. They are likely to get deleted by the admin or not approved at all! Please type in something sensible and related to the corresponding post/page!

Well, Thats It!! Simple isn’t it! It really is so simple.

So now that you know how to do it, don’t hold yourself back. Go ahead and start commenting!! :D

Please don’t spam any blog with your comments. No webmaster likes to see his blog with so much scum. So hold a good limitation of 2-3 comments per blog at a time! :)

U can also find information about how to find whether a link is dofollow or nofollow by clicking on the hyperlink.

Have a good time @ DWT!! ;)
